NORFOLK — State Police arrested three individuals for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree following a traffic stop on County Route 38 on May 1.

Chendelle M. Campbell, 33, of Chase Mills; Morris-Anthony H. Galing, 41, of Madrid; and Kortney M. Russell, 31, of Norfolk were taken into custody at approximately 12:19 p.m.

Troopers initiated the stop after observing a silver 2005 Pontiac driven by Campbell violating a vehicle and traffic law.

During the investigation, officers discovered all three occupants were in possession of narcotics, including methamphetamine and pills, along with drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were transported to SP Massena for processing.

Russell was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Norfolk Court for a date later in May.

Campbell received an appearance ticket for the Town of Norfolk Court, as well as vehicle and traffic tickets returnable to the same court.

Galing was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Norfolk Court, but further investigation revealed he had an extraditable warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Troopers processed Galing as a “Fugitive From Justice” and transported him to the Town of Norfolk Court to have these documents endorsed.

Galing is currently being held at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility awaiting transport to New Jersey.
