CAVENDISH — Vermont State Police have cited a Rutland couple in connection with a retail theft at Singleton’s General Store in Cavendish.
Tiffaney Gallien, 41, and Dexter Gallien, 38, both of Rutland, are accused of stealing numerous bottles of liquor from the store on Feb. 2 at approximately 5:22 p.m.
Police were notified of the theft on March 4 and conducted an investigation that led to the identification of the suspects.
The Galliens have been ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on May 20 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to retail theft charges.
