MONTEZUMA — A 28-year-old Montezuma man was arrested last week on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Dillon M. O’Hare turned himself in on April 25 at approximately 9:42 a.m., Sheriff Brian Schenck reported.

The arrest followed an investigation that began April 7 when the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Cayuga County Child Protective Services were notified of a child who had allegedly been physically abused.

O’Hare was issued an appearance ticket to appear at the Town of Montezuma Court on May 7.

No further details about the investigation have been released.
