Missing East Montpelier woman found safe, police say

EAST MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police have located a 37-year-old East Montpelier woman who had been reported missing earlier this week.

Erika Blake was found safe on Friday, May 2, according to an update from state police.

Blake had been reported missing on Thursday at 7:19 p.m. after leaving her East Montpelier residence on the morning of April 29.

Police had reported that Blake had not had any contact with family or friends since her departure.

Authorities confirmed Blake’s safety at approximately 1:37 a.m. on Friday.

No additional details about where Blake was found or the circumstances of her disappearance were provided in the police update.
