BRIDGEWATER — A juvenile reported missing Thursday afternoon has been safely located, according to the Bridgewater Police Department.
Ellsbeth Nickerson had been reported missing from the area of Green and South streets at approximately 4 p.m.
Police had asked the public to be on the lookout for the juvenile, who was last seen wearing a navy T-shirt, dark leggings and Columbia hiking boots with pink laces.
Authorities noted in their initial alert that the juvenile was believed to be carrying two cream-colored stuffed dogs.
The Bridgewater Police Department confirmed in a brief update Thursday evening that the juvenile had been found safe.
No additional details about the circumstances of the juvenile’s disappearance or recovery were immediately available.
