MARION — Marion police seized illegal drugs during a search of a local residence as part of a multi-agency investigation, according to a statement from Police Chief Nighelli.
“These types of drugs have no place in our community,” said Chief Nighelli.
The operation involved officers from multiple agencies who executed a search warrant at a Marion residence.
Nighelli emphasized that the department continues to actively investigate illegal drug activity to prevent distribution and help those with substance abuse problems.
The chief thanked officers from all agencies involved in the investigation, noting their strong partnerships and clear goals.
