AUBURN — A woman fled the scene after a stabbing incident at the Comfort Inn on Southbridge Street, leading to a police pursuit that ended with her arrest in Bellingham, authorities said.
Auburn Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 486 Southbridge Street on Tuesday, April 29, where officers found two men with minor puncture wounds.
The men were treated by the Auburn Fire Department but refused to cooperate with detectives investigating the incident.
Police located the female suspect during a motor vehicle stop on Southbridge Street near the Route 90 on-ramp, but she fled in her vehicle.
Auburn Police and Massachusetts State Police troopers followed the vehicle as it traveled at or near the speed limit on Route 90 before heading south on Route 495.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle was stopped on Route 495 in Bellingham, where Massachusetts State Police took the woman into custody.
The suspect faces charges from both the Massachusetts State Police and the Auburn Police Department, according to authorities.
