NUNDA — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Nunda resident on felony charges following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
On April 29, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the Village of Nunda after receiving a call reporting that an Order of Protection was being violated inside the residence.
Upon arrival, contact was made with 31-year-old Tyler Bucci.
It was discovered through the investigation that Bucci was inside the residence with an individual who had a full stay away order of protection against Bucci.
Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Cartwright arrested Bucci and charged him with felony Aggravated Family Offense and misdemeanor Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.
Bucci was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
He was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before the Village of Mt. Morris Justice Finnigan.
The District Attorney’s Office recommended that bail be set in the amount of $5,000 cash or $15,000 bond.
The Judge remanded Bucci to the custody of the Sheriff on the recommended $5,000 cash or $15,000 bond.
