ST. JOHNSBURY — A New Hampshire man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after being found unconscious in his vehicle Wednesday evening.
Vermont State Police responded to Railroad Street at approximately 7 p.m. after a concerned citizen reported a man slumped over and passed out behind the wheel of a truck.
Troopers identified the operator as Michael Louis, 54, of Littleton.
Investigation revealed Louis had operated the vehicle while under the influence of drugs, according to police.
Louis was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
