LINDENHURST — Suffolk County Police arrested a Lindenhurst man for possession of child pornography and promoting a sexual performance of a child.
Following a tip from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, SCPD Digital Forensics Unit detectives conducted an investigation into Brian Woehr and executed a search warrant at his Lindenhurst home on April 30.
Electronic devices were seized and numerous images containing child pornography were found.
Woehr, 40, was arrested and charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possession of a Sexual Performance of a Child Under 16.
