MALTA — State Police arrested a Clifton Park woman Monday for allegedly damaging a vehicle with a baseball bat following a road rage incident on I-87.
Chloe Durkin, 51, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree and Criminal Mischief in the second degree.
Troopers responded to Medical Park Drive in Malta at about 7:26 p.m. after receiving reports of a woman damaging a vehicle with a bat.
According to police, Durkin was involved in a road rage incident with the victim on I-87 in Saratoga County.
Investigators said Durkin followed the victim to Medical Park Drive, exited her vehicle with a wooden bat, and used it to cause more than $1,500 worth of damage to the victim’s vehicle.
The victim, who did not know Durkin, was not injured during the altercation.
Durkin was arrested at the scene and transported to SP Saratoga for processing.
She was arraigned at the Malta Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
