Waterbury Center man cited for violating abuse prevention order

WATERBURY CENTER — A local man faces charges after allegedly violating a court-issued protection order multiple times, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to a report of an abuse prevention order violation at approximately 2:46 p.m. on April 28.

Investigation revealed that Robert Farnsworth, 42, of Waterbury Center, had violated conditions of a relief from abuse order on four separate occasions, police said.

Farnsworth was located the following day and issued a citation to appear in Washington County Criminal Court.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at 12:30 p.m. on April 30.

The victim’s identity was not released in accordance with Vermont State Police policy regarding cases of domestic violence.
