Portland woman arrested for threatening, impersonating officer

PORTLAND — Portland Police arrested a 40-year-old woman after she allegedly threatened a resident while impersonating a police officer.

Officers responded to 4 Hill Street on April 29 at 6:21 p.m. following a report of a threat.

A resident told police that someone had knocked on her door, claimed to be a police officer, and threatened to shoot her if she did not come to the door.

Investigators identified Heidi Fuller of Portland as a suspect and obtained a search warrant for her apartment.

During the search, officers recovered two handguns and ammunition.

Fuller was arrested and charged with terrorizing and impersonating a public servant.

She was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
