MILFORD — Police arrested a 20-year-old Milford man Wednesday after he initially refused to surrender to authorities attempting to serve multiple warrants.
Caua Da Rocha Rosado was taken into custody at approximately 11:50 a.m. after officers forced entry into a North Bow Street residence using a department-issued battering ram.
Milford Police Detectives were alerted around 11:40 a.m. by Homeland Security Investigations that agents were attempting to execute an Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant at the location.
Agents reported that Da Rocha Rosado was verbally communicating with them but refused to open the door to allow access.
A state query revealed Da Rocha Rosado had an outstanding felony probation warrant from Milford District Court for charges of strangulation and domestic assault and battery.
Officers made entry and placed Da Rocha Rosado under arrest without further incident.
