ENOSBURG — Vermont State Police arrested a 55-year-old Enosburg man Tuesday after responding to a domestic assault call on Chester A Arthur Road.
Bryan Helwig was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Court at 1 p.m. Wednesday following the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Troopers from the St Albans Barracks responded to the scene after dispatch received a report of domestic assault.
Further investigation revealed that Helwig had assaulted a household member, according to police.
The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
