HORSEHEADS — A Pennsylvania man faces multiple felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Chemung County, authorities said Wednesday.

Jason R. Yahn, 42, of Linden, Pa., was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree, both class B felonies, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony.

The arrest occurred after a sheriff’s deputy stopped Yahn’s motorcycle on April 29 for several vehicle and traffic law violations, including riding without a helmet.

During the investigation, the deputy discovered Yahn was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, along with packaging materials, a scale, multiple cell phones and a large amount of cash.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was called to assist with processing the evidence and arrest.

Yahn was arraigned in the Town of Horseheads Court and released to appear at a later date.
