NORTHPORT — The family of Jeremy Alex, who disappeared in 2004, is offering a reward for information about his whereabouts, according to Maine State Police.

Alex was last seen on April 30, 2004, running down a rural road in Northport in what witnesses described as a delusional state.

Despite numerous leads and interviews conducted over the years, investigators have found no trace of Alex, who has not been seen or heard from since that day.

Maine State Police’s Major Crimes Unit continues to classify Alex’s disappearance as an unsolved missing person case.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about Alex’s disappearance to contact the Maine State Police at (207) 624-7076 extension 9 or submit information through the department’s tip form on their website.

The amount of the reward being offered by the family has not been disclosed.

This April will mark 20 years since Alex’s disappearance.
