Woman arrested for menacing with knife in Conquest domestic incident

CONQUEST — A 43-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly threatening a man with a knife during a domestic dispute in the Town of Conquest, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Gloria L. Brunswick of Conquest was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors, following the April 25 incident.

Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at approximately 12:18 p.m. and separated the individuals involved upon arrival.

The investigation revealed Brunswick had allegedly held a knife in a threatening manner toward a male victim during the altercation.

Brunswick was taken into custody and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing.

She was arraigned in CAP Court and released on her own recognizance.

Brunswick is scheduled to appear in the Town of Conquest Court on April 29 at 6 p.m.
