WATERFORD — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a series of thefts from Lowe’s stores across eastern Connecticut and possibly Rhode Island.
The individual allegedly stole $108.24 worth of merchandise from the Waterford Lowe’s store on April 7.
According to the Waterford Police Department, the suspect made no attempt to pay for the items before leaving the store.
The suspect was seen departing in a Nissan Rogue with Rhode Island license plates.
Authorities report that the same individual is believed to be responsible for similar thefts at several other Lowe’s locations.
