NORTH HILLS — A 64-year-old man from Scio has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following a fatal road rage incident in North Hills on Friday, April 25 at 2:14 p.m.
According to Nassau County Police Homicide Squad Detectives, Brian Noll was operating a 2022 Ford pickup truck eastbound on the South Service Road of the Long Island Expressway near New Hyde Park Road when an altercation began with a 29-year-old male riding a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling in the same direction.
During the altercation, detectives say Noll intentionally swerved his vehicle into the motorcycle, pinning the rider against a guardrail.
The motorcyclist suffered severe trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 66-year-old female passenger in Noll’s vehicle was not injured in the incident.
Noll has been charged with Murder in the Second Degree.
