BROADALBIN — A lawn mower caught fire Monday evening on Broad Street, prompting a response from local fire departments.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company and Perth Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the scene at 7:12 p.m. on April 28.
The burning lawn mower was reportedly located approximately 50 feet from a structure.
A Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander later advised that the fire had been extinguished.
Perth Volunteer Fire Company units were canceled after the fire was declared out.
