SUTTON — Two Florida men face multiple charges after allegedly stealing property from Off Piste Farm in mid-April.
Isaaic Fletcher, 18, of Lake Worth, Florida, and Bryam Ramirez, 22, of Monticello, Florida, were cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on charges including burglary and grand larceny.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were notified on April 20 that stolen property had been located in Northfield by Norwich University students.
The property was recovered and identified as belonging to Off Piste Farm in Sutton.
Through multiple tips online, phone calls, and security footage from local businesses, troopers identified Fletcher as one of the suspects.
On April 23, Fletcher was located by Northfield Police Department and cited to appear in court the following day at 12:30 p.m. for grand larceny.
Fletcher was arraigned and released on conditions.
Vermont State Police received assistance during the investigation from Lyndonville Police Department, Berlin Police Department, Berlin Vermont State Police Barracks, and Northfield Police Department.
On the evening of April 27, Ramirez contacted Vermont State Police and admitted to being involved in the incident.
Ramirez provided additional information that led to Fletcher being charged with unlawful mischief, burglary, and selling or dispensing 1 or more pounds of cannabis.
Ramirez was cited to appear on June 2 at 8:30 a.m. in Caledonia County Superior Court for burglary and grand larceny.
