MAYFIELD — A vehicle fire at Hillside Estates on State Highway 30 was reported extinguished before firefighters arrived on the scene Monday afternoon.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company and Perth Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the location at 2:57 p.m. on April 28.
Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander confirmed the fire was already out.
The commander instructed other responding units to continue to the scene “non-emergency” and released the Perth Volunteer Fire Company from the call.
Police were also dispatched to the location.
No information about injuries or the cause of the fire was immediately available.
