NORTHFIELD — Vermont State Police arrested a Northfield man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs after his vehicle crashed on Route 64 Sunday night.
David Lisboa, 49, was driving a 2007 Mazda MX-5 when it crossed the double yellow line and left the roadway near Westview Ridge Road around 11:05 p.m., according to police.
The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage in the crash, which occurred on wet pavement under clear weather conditions.
Lisboa, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured in the crash.
During their investigation, troopers determined Lisboa was impaired and took him into custody on suspicion of DUI Drug.
Police also discovered Lisboa had violated court-ordered conditions of release.
Lisboa was processed at the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks and released with a citation to appear in Washington Superior Court – Criminal Division.
