Driver faces DUI charge after Cambridge crash

CAMBRIDGE — A 56-year-old Underhill man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his car veered off the road Sunday evening.

Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 15 west of John Putnam Memorial Drive at approximately 6:14 p.m. on April 27.

Troopers identified the driver as Aaron Juaire of Underhill.

According to police, Juaire was traveling west on Route 15 when his 1997 BMW 328 left the roadway and ended up in a ditch, disabling the vehicle.

While speaking with Juaire, troopers observed signs of impairment.

Juaire was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and reported no injuries.

He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Morrisville Police Department for processing.

Juaire was later released with a citation to appear at Lamoille County Superior Court on May 14 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of DUI.
