WEST ADDISON — A 20-year-old West Addison man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident after a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 17 on April 27.
Vermont State Police troopers from the New Haven Barracks responded to the crash near the Champlain Bridge Marina at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Investigation revealed that David French Jr. drove his 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee off the road, causing property damage before leaving the area in his vehicle.
Troopers later located French and issued him a citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
The Jeep sustained total damage in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the incident, with cloudy weather.
