Brattleboro woman faces DUI #2 after Vernon crash

VERNON — Vermont State Police arrested a Brattleboro woman on suspicion of her second DUI offense following a crash Sunday night in Vernon.

Troopers responded to a reported vehicle crash at 462 Pond Road in Vernon at 8:40 p.m. on April 27.

At the scene, officers spoke with the operator, identified as Amanda M. Forrett, 40, of Brattleboro.

Through their investigation, troopers determined Forrett had been operating her vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Forrett was arrested and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.

She was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on May 13 at 8:30 a.m.

Forrett faces charges of DUI, second offense.
