Holyoke police recover trafficking weight of heroin, fentanyl at medical center

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan announced that officers recovered a significant quantity of drugs at Holyoke Medical Center on Friday, April 4.

Officers responded to the hospital and located drugs on a patient during their investigation.

Police seized approximately 147 bags, or 3.675 grams, of crack cocaine and about 31 grams of heroin/fentanyl, an amount defined as trafficking weight.

The suspect will receive a criminal summons related to these charges.
