Hartland man accused in domestic assault, resisting arrest on US Route 5

HARTLAND — Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to a reported domestic disturbance on US Route 5 in Hartland at approximately 4:14 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Investigation revealed a previous incident involving domestic assault committed by David Thibodeau, 65, of Hartland.

Thibodeau was arrested and charged with domestic assault, reckless endangerment, and resisting arrest.

He was processed at the Hartford Police Department and later transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility with bail and court-ordered conditions.

Thibodeau was cited to appear at Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on April 15 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charges.

The name of the victim has not been released in accordance with state policy.
