WEBSTER — Webster police officers arrested a Worcester man wanted on a probation violation stemming from a previous double shooting.

On Wednesday, March 26, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Webster Police officers responded to the North Village apartment complex for a reported disturbance.

Officers learned that one of the individuals involved in the disturbance was Troy Morvan, who officers knew had two warrants for his arrest.

Sergeant Larochelle, along with Officers Suss, Motyka and Caruso arrived on scene and proceeded to an apartment where Morvan was believed to be hiding.

Upon being let into the apartment, officers located Morvan in a back bedroom and took him into custody without incident.

At the time of this call, Morvan had two separate warrants for his arrest.

Morvan was on probation after serving two years in jail for a double shooting in Worcester in 2021.

In December, Morvan allegedly committed a burglary in Webster which led to the second warrant.

Troy Morvan, 29, of Litchfield St., Worcester, was arrested on a Worcester Superior Court warrant for probation violation related to charges including assault and battery with a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license.

He was also arrested on a Dudley District Court warrant for unarmed burglary, larceny from a person, and witness intimidation.
