MALONE — State Police arrested a Malone man for multiple offenses including menacing with a baseball bat on State Route 30.
Chad E. Lavare, 43, was arrested on April 9 at approximately 6:27 p.m. after police responded to a report of menacing.
According to police, Lavare was wielding a baseball bat and threatening to use it harmfully against a victim.
During the altercation, Lavare also caused damage to property at the residence.
Lavare was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree due to a previous conviction, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and menacing in the third degree.
He was processed at SP Malone and arraigned in the Town of Malone Court.
Lavare was released on his own recognizance.
