GREENWICH — State Police arrested two Arlington men on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in Salem on April 5.
Derek R. Bushee, 42, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
Bradley W. Hughes, 35, was also arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree.
Troopers stopped a vehicle on Perry Hill Road in Salem at about 6:49 p.m. for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
The driver was identified as Bushee, and the passenger as Hughes.
It was determined that neither individual possessed a valid driver’s license.
Further investigation discovered felony-weight narcotics in the vehicle and multiple glass smoking devices containing drug residue.
Both men were transported to SP Greenwich for processing.
They were then turned over to the Washington County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
