CHAMPLAIN — State police members arrested Dominic Vo, 23, of Prevost, Quebec, on April 5 for possession of a forged instrument in the first degree.
At approximately 11:55 a.m., troopers responded to the Mobile gas station on Route 11 in the town of Champlain following a fraud report.
The investigation determined that Vo entered the store and requested to exchange two fifty-dollar bills.
When employees tested the bills, it was found that they were counterfeit.
Vo was subsequently arrested and transported to the SP Champlain for processing.
He was arraigned in the Town of Champlain Court and released on his own recognizance.
