Teen faces charges after fight at Adirondack High School

BOONVILLE — A juvenile is facing multiple charges following a fight at Adirondack High School on March 13, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.

School officials contacted the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office after the incident, which led to the victim seeking medical attention.

An investigation was conducted by both the Patrol and Juvenile Aid Unit of the sheriff’s office.

The juvenile was cited for Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all class A misdemeanors.

Additional charges include Attempted Assault in the 3rd Degree, a class B misdemeanor.

The juvenile was issued appearance tickets returnable to Oneida County Juvenile Probation on an upcoming date.
