FALL RIVER — The Fall River Police Department executed two search warrants on April 3, resulting in six arrests, five firearms seized and cocaine intercepted, according to officials.
The raids took place at Father Diaferio Village and on Blackstone Street as part of an ongoing effort to reduce violent crime in the community.
Police said the operation stemmed from weeks of intelligence gathering and collaboration between the department’s Patrol Bureau, Housing Unit, Emergency Services Unit, and CAST.
At Father Diaferio Village, officers arrested Mason Blake, Arjaray Lewis-Holloway, and Luanda Lewis on multiple firearm-related offenses.
Lewis faces additional charges of possession of Class B and C drugs and child endangerment, according to police.
A juvenile, who was reportedly under house arrest for a previous firearm possession arrest, was also taken into custody at the same location and now faces additional firearm charges.
At the Blackstone Street location, police arrested Tarsha Sousa and Marteze Taylor on multiple firearm-related offenses and trafficking less than 100 grams of cocaine.
Authorities said Sousa also had multiple outstanding drug-related warrants.
