ATHENS — A local man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.
Tyler T. Gillespie, 21, of Athens, was taken into custody after Vermont State Police responded to the crash on Route 35 at approximately 4:35 p.m. on April 3.
Troopers reported that Gillespie displayed signs of impairment while they spoke with him at the scene.
Gillespie was transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on April 22 at 8:30 a.m.
