DERRY — A 69-year-old Derry man was arrested Friday on six felony charges related to child sexual abuse images, according to police.
Dale T. Stancik of 14 Briarwood St. turned himself in to the Derry Police Department at 1:31 p.m. on April 4 following an investigation that began in March.
Police executed a search warrant at Stancik’s residence on April 1, seizing several electronic devices.
Investigators subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Stancik, who surrendered to authorities shortly thereafter.
Stancik was held on preventative detention following an appearance before a magistrate.
He is scheduled for arraignment on Monday, April 7, at the 10th Circuit Court – Derry Division.
Police said the investigation into the alleged conduct is ongoing.
