LINCOLN — A juvenile pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Smithfield Avenue near Reservoir Avenue Thursday morning.
Lincoln police officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:17 a.m. on April 3, along with Lincoln Fire and Rescue personnel.
The juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Authorities credited witnesses at the scene for assisting with the investigation.
Police urged drivers to use extra caution, especially as warmer weather brings more pedestrians to roadways.
