CANTON — State Police arrested Stephen M. Kocienski, 31, of Canton on April 2 on charges of sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from an incident reported in March 2024 involving an 11-year-old victim at a residence in Canton, St. Lawrence County.
Following a thorough investigation, Kocienski was processed at SP Canton and arraigned in the Town of Canton Court.
He was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail with bail set at $30,000 cash, $60,000 bond, or a partially secured bond of $100,000.
State Police were assisted in the investigation by the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office and St. Lawrence County Child Protective Services.
