RYEGATE — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks arrested a Newbury woman on an active warrant Thursday morning after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Scott Highway.
At approximately 7:15 a.m. on March 13, state police located the reported vehicle and found that one of its occupants, Randi Perry, 41, had an active arrest warrant from Caledonia County.
The warrant was issued for Perry’s failure to appear in court on charges of DUI #1 Drug and Possession of a Depressant/Stimulant/Narcotic.
Perry was taken into custody at the scene.
She was later transported to the Caledonia Courthouse for court proceedings.
