MILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 19-year-old Queensbury man Tuesday on multiple felony charges related to inappropriate communications with a minor.

Blair W. Storms faces charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child and disseminating indecent material to minors, both class D felonies.

He is also charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrest followed an investigation that began Jan. 23, when the Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint about a minor receiving inappropriate text messages via social media in the town of Milton.

According to authorities, Storms is accused of directing performances that included sexual conduct by a child less than 17 years old and engaging in communication with a minor that described sexual activity.

Investigators also allege Storms knowingly possessed a sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old and acted in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical, mental, and moral welfare of a child less than 17 years old.

Storms was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in the Milton Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
