HADLEY — A 22-year-old Hadley man was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly violating an order of protection during a domestic incident, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Zachary A. Locke faces charges of criminal contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony, as well as criminal mischief in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation.
Deputies responded to a residence on Rockwell Street in Hadley at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday following a report of an active domestic incident.
According to authorities, Locke is accused of subjecting a protected person to unlawful physical contact, violating an existing order of protection.
Investigators say Locke also intentionally damaged property during the incident, breaking a wine glass and a lamp.
Following his arrest, Locke was arraigned before Judge Michael T. Woodcock in Corinth Town Court.
He was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in Hadley Town Court.
