Elmont man arrested for graffiti spree across Nassau County

FRANKLIN SQUARE — An Elmont man was arrested Wednesday after police caught him spray-painting graffiti on a storage container in Franklin Square, according to Nassau County Police.

Treston T. Isaacs Jr., 28, was observed by officers at 1:12 p.m. wearing a face mask while vandalizing property at 550 Franklin Avenue.

Police said their investigation determined Isaacs was responsible for spray-painting “506 OMM” and “516 OMM” at various locations throughout Nassau County.

Isaacs was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, possession of graffiti instruments, making graffiti and violating Nassau County Local Law 1-2024 Title 90-Mask Transparency Act.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on March 27.

Nassau County Police are asking anyone with information about additional graffiti locations to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.

All callers will remain anonymous, police said.
