SHARON — Sharon police detectives have arrested a suspect in connection with a series of larcenies and car break-ins that occurred in both Sharon and Boston.
The investigation began in February when Sharon police started looking into recent thefts and vehicle break-ins in the town.
Detectives identified a suspect who was allegedly committing similar crimes in Boston.
Last week, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Sharon where they discovered evidence linked to the area larcenies and car break-ins.
The suspect was located and arrested this week in Dorchester after allegedly committing another larceny, according to police.
The arrest was made with assistance from the Boston Police Department.
The suspect faces multiple charges in connection with numerous larcenies and car break-ins in both Sharon and Boston.
