WOODBURY — A juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle and a firearm following an investigation that began in November 2024, according to the Woodbury Police Department.
Officer Defeo was assigned to investigate the theft on Nov. 24, 2024, after both a vehicle and firearm were reported stolen in Woodbury.
The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Newark, New Jersey.
Through investigation and assistance from the Washington Resident Troopers Office, authorities identified a juvenile from the Hartford area as being involved in the firearm theft.
An arrest warrant was served on March 11, and the juvenile was taken into custody on charges of theft of a firearm and larceny.
The suspect is currently being held at a detention center.
