MAYFIELD — An electrical fire broke out in a bathroom at a Woods Hollow Road residence Tuesday morning, prompting response from multiple emergency agencies.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched to the scene at 9:20 a.m. on March 11.
Perth Volunteer Fire Company also responded to the call, along with police and Lake Valley EMS personnel.
According to officials, an occupant of the home had already extinguished the flames before firefighters arrived.
Crews from both Broadalbin and Perth fire departments investigated the scene after the fire was reported to have originated from an electrical source in the bathroom.
