2 Lockport juveniles arrested after shots fired

LOCKPORT — Two juveniles were arrested on multiple charges including assault and illegal discharge of a firearm following an incident on Lockwood Drive in Lockport.

On March 7 at 9:31 p.m., Troopers from SP Lockport responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the area.

Investigation revealed that a 16-year-old fired multiple 16-gauge shotgun rounds from the porch of a residence.

Troopers arrested the 16-year-old along with a 15-year-old who was also at the scene.

Three Troopers sustained minor injuries while taking the combative 15-year-old into custody.

Both juveniles were charged with Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Assault 2nd degree (3 counts), Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree and Obstruction Governmental Administration 2nd degree.

The juveniles were processed at SP Lockport, issued appearance tickets for Niagara County Family Court, and released to an adult.
