PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested four individuals in separate incidents over the weekend, including two for driving under the influence and two on outstanding warrants.
On Sunday at 2:52 p.m., troopers arrested Camelo Jaquez, 51, of Providence, following a traffic stop on Route 95.
Jaquez was charged with driving with a suspended license and was also wanted on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failing to appear for arraignment on a previous DUI charge.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
Later that day at 5:35 p.m., Alex Patterson, 29, of Pascoag, turned himself in at the Lincoln Woods Barracks on an arrest warrant.
Patterson faces charges of reckless driving, simple assault and battery, and disorderly conduct stemming from a previous investigation.
After processing and arraignment by a justice of the peace, Patterson was released with a future court date in Sixth Division District Court.
Early Monday at 12:49 a.m., troopers stopped Mario Burdier, 34, of Pawtucket, on Magil Street in Pawtucket.
Burdier was charged with first-offense DUI, refusing a chemical test, resisting arrest, and obstructing an officer.
After being treated for minor complaints of pain at Miriam Hospital, Burdier was processed and held overnight pending arraignment as a probation violator.
In a fourth incident Monday at 4:21 a.m., troopers arrested Manuel Martinez, 36, of Pawtucket, during a traffic stop on Fountain Street in Pawtucket.
Martinez was wanted on a Sixth District Court bench warrant for failing to appear for arraignment on a domestic disorderly charge from the Pawtucket Police Department.
He was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
