BURKE — A 46-year-old East Haven man was arrested Sunday evening after state police responded to a fight on Vermont Route 114.
Douglas Young Jr. was taken into custody around 7:11 p.m. after troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks arrived at the scene of a reported altercation.
While investigating the incident, troopers identified Young as a witness to the fight.
Further investigation revealed Young was driving with a criminally suspended license and had violated court-ordered conditions of release.
Young was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 7 at 8:30 a.m.
