Belmont man faces weapons charges after Cuba traffic stop

CUBA — A Belmont man was arrested on weapons charges following a traffic stop in Cuba, police said.

Edward C. Moseley, 59, was arrested at approximately 10:07 p.m. on March 8 after being pulled over by Cuba Police Department officers.

Moseley faces multiple charges including criminal possession of a firearm, a felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.

He was also cited for several traffic violations including moving from lane unsafely, operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and having an inadequate muffler.

Moseley was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.
